For more than 70 years, the Tryon Block House Races, the historic steeplechase of the Tryon Riding and Hunt Club. The steeplechase is held on a one-mile track on 115 acres of land managed by the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) located at 6881 South U.S. Highway 9 in Columbus, NC. The 2018 Tryon Block House Race will be held on April 14.
