6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Free community event: everyone is invited to the Hometown Christmas! The main event will occur in McCreery Park with music and entertainment provided by local talent on the Ella Grace Mintz Stage.
Also, in the park will be laser lights, a campfire for roasting s’mores, a toy donation box, and a Christmas carol sing-along. A visit from Santa is expected. Elf stations will be located along Main Street providing free goodies and hot beverages for strollers. Not all shops will be open due to COVID-19 concerns, but all will be decorated and lit for window shopping and an evening stroll from the Saluda Visitors Center to Nostalgia Courtyard.
Local businesses will donate goodies to the elf stations and the city will provide the fixings for s’mores in the park. Following the stroll, at 8pm, Saluda churches will present an ecumenical service on the Ella Grace Mintz Stage in McCreery Park. Hometown Christmas is sponsored by the Saluda Business Association and the City of Saluda.
